What was the challenge you wanted help with?
I had just started my business and suddenly faced doing everything on my own. It was definitely what I wanted and it was exciting, but I didn’t have someone to brainstorm with. I didn’t have a partner to discuss my good ideas with, who’d provide me with feedback as well as constructive criticism. In short: I had countless idea, but I didn’t know whether they’d land with my target audience.
I hired you to provide me with an external perspective and feedback. Your experience in data was exactly what I needed for that. Other coaches could simply not provide the subject matter expertise I needed for this task.
What did you want to get out of the coaching?
What success did you hope for? What was your ultimate goal for our time together?
My initial goal was ‘just’ to get over my procrastination. I knew I had to create my product from scratch, but I was afraid to fail and that’s why I kept putting it off. With you by my side I hoped to get over that fear.
It was also clear to me that I wanted to create an excellent product – in this case a comprehensive workshop. I wanted your input, feedback and critique to improve and fine-tune it.
What results did you achieve?
When I first ran the workshop with a paying client, it was really successful. Yes, there are a couple of tweaks I want to make. But I achieved my goal to create and complete the workshop product and to run it successfully without being boo’ed off-stage. I would say I exceeded this goal.
I am currently in conversation with this client about additional projects.
What was the impact of those results?
It’s a great relief to know that this workshop is now a completed product and I can reuse the concept and content anytime. The burden of unfinished work has been taken off my shoulders and I can focus on the next steps.
So much! I have so many plans, and this initial nudge from you, Eva, has really kicked off my business journey. It has also given me momentum for generating ideas and the confidence that “I can do it” and “I can be successful”.
